To Be Continued… Continued
A day event on serial forms in different media
Hosted by the Department of History of Art and Film, University of Leicester
13 January 2016

‘To Be Continued… A Colloquium on Serials, Series and Sequential Viewing’ (https://serialsseriesandsequentialmedia.wordpress.com/) took place at the University of East Anglia in June 2014. It was designed as the first of a series of events, bringing together researchers on serial forms across media, disciplines and contexts. For the second instalment of our own series we are inviting contributions as either:

1. A short paper (up to 15 minutes) delivered at the event on approaches to serial or other sequential forms in cinema, television, radio, print, electronic media, or across media.
2. An example of work-in-progress on seriality in any media and responses to this work. Those contributing in this way will need to send in their work in early December so that it can be made available to those attending the event. On the day they should be willing to respond to work sent in by another contributor.
This will be a free event, open to everyone who registers their intention to attend. If you wish to contribute please send me an email by the end of November with the title of your proposed paper, indicating whether you want this to be considered for delivery at the event or whether you would be submitting it beforehand. If you won’t be contributing but wish to attend please let me know as soon as possible.
